Happy Thursday, Ladies! If there’s one thing I love about fall and winter dressing it’s wearing head-to-toe knitwear. Today I am sharing my love for sweater weather! Sweaters are definitely a cold-weather must-have, but what about knit pants, skirts and dresses? I love them all. Now that the weather feels a lot more wintry here in Athens, Georgia, knitwear is at the top of my list when I put together my daily outfits.
One of my favorite new knit pieces are the Delaney Kickout Sweater Pants from J.Crew. I have the red pair, and I just recently went for the burgundy pair. These pants do come in petite sizes, which is one of the factors that made me pull the trigger on purchasing two pairs of them.
I am wearing a petite size 0. They are form-fitting, but are not uncomfortable or too tight. They have a wide waistband that is great for holding you in. Overall these pants fit perfectly true to size and they move very easily.

Dark grey is one of my favorite cold-weather neutrals because it can lean cool and warm so it pairs beautifully with reds and browns, as well as blues and blacks. This Cable Knit Rollneck Sweater is in the supersoft yarn that J.Crew is known for. Though it’s not cashmere, this sweater is so incredibly soft and comfortable. It’s a great compromise if cashmere has too steep of a price tag for you. I have worn this sweater a lot lately, it’s a great go-to sweater for any kind of outfit.

I purchased these Loraine Bit Loafers last year and they’re still available. I highly recommend them because they are comfortable and and the grey plaid flannel is perfect for fall and winter, plus the sequins elevate them just enough to make a statement.
My new favorite everyday bag is the Mini Shopper Tote from Madewell. I have two, one in this deep merlot color and one in orange. It’s a perfect bag for every day and the shape is perfect – it’s a classic bowling bag shape that is always in style. Consider this bag a great gift for any lady on your holiday shopping list!
To give my ensemble a littel something extra, I tied this Silk Twill Tie, also from Madewell, to the handle of my purse to give my whole outfit a little extra color and fun flair. Of course, the merlot color ties it altogether, but the red and pink stripe gives my whole outfit a bright pop of color that feels perfect for fall and winter 2024.
