Velveteen Blazer from Talbots – Holiday Outfit
Who has their holiday outfits lined up? One of my favorite style formulas is to pair a festive skirt or pants with a classic blazer and sweater. It’s a match made in casual chic heaven. One of my favorite holiday patterns is a Black Watch plaid or tartan. And don’t think you can’t wear either pattern well before and after the holiday season. Beth, is the sizing for this your true Talbots size? Or would you size up?

Yes, I am wearing a size 8 – my regular size. The most important things about the fit of a blazer is the shoulder sleeve and the sleeve length. Women aren’t bound by the same style rules as men when it comes to buttoning their blazer. Most women wear their blazers unbuttoned.
