Leaf Peeping. The cutely named activity of heading outside to enjoy and marvel at the beauty of fall foliage. Not all of us in the United States have had the in-person experience of the colorful magic that is the Northeastern Fall foliage.
For those who live there and those who take a special trip to witness the foliage, it can be an awe-inspiring experience. One where photos alone don’t do justice to the wonder of nature. If you’re heading out to peep the leaves, whether it’s a drive through country roads, or hiking a trail winding through the reds, oranges, and yellows of Fall, today’s post is for you.

Going leaf peeping with my favorite guy tomorrow! We love shopping in a small village and having a great lunch as well. I love all the makeup tips yesterday. I have been noticing darkness around the inner corners of my eyes, and I am very petite and find it a challenge to get in the tiny areas. I’m going to try these ideas. I was wondering if anyone else besides myself gets concerned about eye makeup application while wearing contacts. I am cautious because I don’t want to have any makeup get into my eyes and affect my contact lens comfort. I never see this problem addressed and would appreciate any suggestions. Beth, you look lovely!
Hi Lyn! I wear contacts myself. Started when I turned around 55ish. At the time, my ophthalmologist advised putting my skincare on without my contacts and my makeup on with my contacts in. I’ve stuck to that simple rule with success.
Hope this helps!
Headed this weekend to Nantucket from Houston. I can’t wait! I will probably miss most of the color but still a nice change of scenery.
The Athleta pieces you featured are also 20% off right now, which does not happen very often with Athleta!
Hi Jackie, I am sure you will have a wonderful time on your trip! Isn’t that wonderful about the Athleta sale! Thank so much for stopping by! xo Kelly
