Happy Thursday! With the Fourth of July festivities behind us, we are laser-focused on the Nordstrom Anniversary sale next week – which is the biggest summer event for fashion and lifestyle bloggers. But before we get to Nordstrom, I have a great pair of Wide Leg Pants for Summer from Anthropologie. I ordered the pants back in February (I think), and they’ve finally come back in stock. Wide Leg Pants Perfect for Summer
The Maeve Colette Cropped Wide-Leg Pants
When I first ordered these Maeve pants, I didn’t pay any attention to the material they were made of. I assumed they were canvas or denim. So I figured I’d save them for fall. However! They are made of an Only-at-Anthro Magic Fabric, consisting of viscose, cotton, and elastane. These pants are light-as-air. The fabric has stretch, which smooths and sculpts – a very nice feature indeed!
I have a pair of these Colette Cropped Wide-Leg Pants in denim, here, and I really love them so I was excited to see Maeve release several new prints, colors, and fabrics of this style. See the whole collection, here. There is a color and/or print for everyone – and most (if not all) are sold in petite sizes too!
Styled Simply
To let the Colette Cropped Wide-Leg Pants be the star of my outfit, I have kept everything else pretty simple. This white Rumpled Satin Blouse has been my go-to top this summer, it’s an affordable top from Vince Camuto at Nordstrom that has really shown itself to go with everything in my closet!
And then, because they reflect so much light as to look white at times, these metallic fisherman sandals from J.Crew are just the right amount of fun for these polka-dot pants. The silver style has not yet come back in stock (it might not), but they have the same style in gold, find it here.
Sticking with white, I have chosen the woven Puff Crossbody Bag in white to complete my outfit.
