Happy Sunday night, ladies!  A late post for sure.  But it’s been one of those weeks.  Just a bit behind with everything. But onward and upwards as they say, and a late post is better than no post.  So today, we’re picking up where we left off and talking about 5 (more) essential fall coats.

1. Peacoat

Pair white jeans with a classic sweater and a beautiful peacoat.  A peacoat is a classic-if not the classic-coat to own.  But they’re bulky.  So if you’re planning on traveling with one, make sure you wear it on the plane.

2. Sweater Blazer

How do we keep stripes looking modern and fresh rather than ho-hum? It’s elementary my dear! Simply add a sweater blazer to your stripes along with a pair of chic white pants. Yes!

3. Trenchcoat

A traditional trench is long, double-breasted, has ten buttons, and comes in black, tan, khaki, or beige. Trench coats often incorporate cuff straps, raglan sleeves, shoulder straps, and belts.

In the early years, sizing was quite generous as this water-repellent coat would be worn over a heavier coat for the purpose of staying dry.

Today, the mighty trench has been re-sized and is form-fitting. Many coats offer zip-in linings.
