Ingredients
1 1/2 ounces Campari
1 1/2 ounces sweet vermouth
Soda water, to top
Orange slice to garnish
Instructions
Add Campari and sweet vermouth to a Collins or rocks glass. Add ice and top with soda. Garnish with an orange slice.
A Classic Jacket For Fall
Happy, happy Saturday, gang! Don't think I forgot about Fridays With Oscar. I've got a classic jacket for Fall and a great cocktail. But boy, oh boy, what a week. I had seven pine trees removed from my property this week, and was that an endeavor in patience?! The power company had to come and drop the power lines as several of the trees were quite close to the lines. It was easy peasy to turn off the power. But an entirely different scenario to have power returned. After a $200 reconnect fee, the lights returned around 8 pm… I’m still without internet; AT&T is scheduled to hook up power between 4 and 8 Friday night. Fun times!
So I’m ready for a cocktail this week and can’t wait to put my feet up for the duration of the weekend. My best buddy is by my side, and I have a yummy cocktail by the name of Americano that’s easy to make. I’ve been on a Campari kick lately, so this drink fit the bill. Come on in. Let’s get this party started.

So sad about your trees. We have lost a few due to high winds or disease. We planted new ones but they won’t offer shade in our lifetime. Love your new hairstyle!
