Happy Friday, gang! The countdown is on, and Christmas is T minus 16! And I've got a white Christmas outfit perfect for the holidays.
Anyone have all of their Christmas shopping finished? I am close but not quite there yet. I'm headed to Atlanta today for a haircut (yes, the do is finally long enough to put it in the style I've been eyeing. Stay tuned!), so I think I'll have time to swing by a store or two.
Next week is crazy busy, kicking off with The Georgia Club Christmas Home Tour on Sunday. There might be a ticket or two still available. If you live in the area, here's the 2022 Christmas Tour of Homes contact information. I'm taking my daughter-in-law and future daughter-in-law. It will be a fun day that starts with brunch and ends with shopping! Perfect girls' day out.
At Casa Djalali, all the stockings are hung with care, although I decided not to haul my Christmas tree upstairs from storage. Instead, I brought up a lovely smaller tree and placed it in the living room. I like it! I've been rethinking my Christmas decoration storage and would like to carve out space in the garage instead of the basement.
It's a chore to haul all the storage boxes upstairs and back downstairs. Having the boxes in the garage will save oodles of time (and sweat) when it's time to deck the halls. I'm always looking for ways to streamline my life. How about you? What are your storage secrets and time savers?
BEAUTIFUL, as always! Hope you have a lovely weekend!💝🎄
Thanks for stopping by today!
Figured you were going to go to a new style since you were growing out your hair. Looking forward to seeing it. And congratulations to your son on his engagement!
We are excited to add another girl to the roster!
Hi Beth, love your outfit. I have finished all my Christmas shopping, I don’t have many to buy for at all now. Looking forward to seeing your new Christmas tree and your decorations too.
Wishing you, Oscar and Ollie a lovely weekend, kind regards Julie
Merry Christmas, Julie!
You’re awesome Beth! I really liked today’s winter white outfit, a nice departure from black or red. But I have to tell you, just YESTERDAY I discarded a pair of velour pants that were winter white w gold dots bc I almost never wore them…bc I couldn’t style them. Now today I ran to the garbage to get them, but it’s too late. Why does that happen? You have something for years and the moment you discard them, you want them back.
I can’t tell you how many times that’s happened to me! But take heart, your closet might be more streamlined.
I like your fun OOTD and the quick and easy cookie recipe. Can’t wait to see your new haircut, have a safe drive into Atlanta. Enjoy the shopping and the house tour with Kelly and future daughter-in-law. Congrats, didn’t know one of your other sons was engaged. A growing family, wonderful!
We are so excited to add another girl to the roster!
I don’t know how you do it ALL! WOW! You don’t stop Beth. Love your posts and I love to see how active you are. You seem to have a very full life!
This outfit is cute, but not for me with the tie around the waist; a no no for my body!
Love the recipe and can’t wait to make it, although I’m a little stumped with the espresso, as I don’t drink that or know how to prepare it! Always learning! Thanks!
Happy weekend.
The tie does add some bulk so not for everyone. I hope you try the espresso martini. It’s hands down one of my favorite winter cocktails.
You look great, Beth! Love the winter white-out. And thank you for two winning recipes. Oscar looks like he’s smiling also 🙂
Oscar brought his A game today!
