It’s official! The holiday season has kicked off. Amazon Prime Day has arrived, and with it, all sorts of goodies are on sale. It’s the biggest sale of the year. Today, I'm sharing my Amazon Prime Early Access Picks.
Okay, technically, it might be the third or fourth since Amazon decided to roll out this epic sale twice this year. But if you can believe it, Amazon Prime Day has eclipsed Black Friday and Cyber Monday, which is why I’m bringing this epic sale to your attention (I know y’all love a good sale). The only catch is that you must be an Amazon Prime member to shop.
Not a member yet? Here are a few amenities that might entice you to sign up. There’s free two-day shipping year-round (this is a boon for me as I live in a small town), plus, you have access to Prime Video and Prime Music. Sign up here for a 30-day free trial membership (cancel anytime).
For the past ten years (or thereabouts), there hasn’t been a week without at least one item arriving on my doorstep with Amazon Prime. Sometimes it’s daily… When Mr. style and I lived in San Francisco, even our groceries were delivered to our front stoop in the wee hours of the morning. Dog food for Oscar? No problem. Here’s an automated pet feeder. I even order his Friday night ham bone and bully sticks from Amazon. It’s on my must-have list, thanks to Amazon Prime Day Deals. And I’m very interested in the Apple Air Tags, including the Reflective Air Tag Dog Collar that allows you to track your dog if he slips out of the yard. Or you can try a Tractive Waterproof GPS Dog Tracker.
And books? While I love to walk into Barnes and Noble or a neighborhood bookstore and smell the ink, nothing beats Amazon’s vast selection of books and free shipping. Last month my local book club read Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. We’ve also read Confessions on the 7:45 by Lisa Unger and Careful What You Wish For by Hallie Ephron. We all loved The Midnight Library. But the book club was divided on The Missing Letter of Mrs. Bright. For easy reading on the go, the Kindle Oasis is on sale today, and it’s waterproof!
Today, I rounded up a few things that I shop for at Amazon. It would be impossible to list everything on sale during the two-day Amazon Prime Day shopping extravaganza, so I’m sharing my favorites. Don’t worry; Amazon has made your selection process seamless. You can shop by Prime Day Deals, Lightning Deals, Trending, or Top Brands. then there are Amazon Devices for the techie in you and me. Fall Essentials, Must Have Shoes, and Rayban Sunglasses to name a few categories. Plus, Amazon has sourced Gift Guides.

When I’m in a pinch, my beauty and haircare products arrive from Amazon. Take a look at their Beauty Day 1 Deals, including Olaplex shampoo and conditioner. Now is a great time to stock up on Beauty Essentials like Crest White Strips so our teeth will be pearly white. Elemis has some great deals today. Love their Pro-Collagen Super Serum. Sunscreen is an absolute must. My dermatologist recommends Elta MD I use the tinted moisturizer spray for my face. And NYX is an affordable line of makeup products. Beauty editor Jennifer recommended I stock up on their lip gloss: Bit of Honey, Angel Food Cake, and Tiramisu. And I did! Love all three shades.
Y’all know I’ve worked with L’Oreal several times, introducing their Age Perfect line when it launched two years ago and Midnight Serum the following year, and recently they sent a new product Le Color Gloss that’s a one-step toning hair gloss. It enhances my silvers, grays, and what’s left of my natural color. They offer thirteen shades in all. I’ve been using it once or twice a month.
Several times a week, I use the NuFace microcurrent device. The starter kit is on special today, that’s great for travel. I use the NuFACE hydrating aqua gel that delivers the microcurrent from the device. Foreo-activated masks go with my Foreo UFO LED skincare device (it’s a mini facial), and a self-tanning mitt, eyelash serum, and a cleansing balm are must-haves in my book. Take a look at more Premium Beauty Products on sale.
I'm also picking up Crepe erase advanced body repair treatment, lip and cheek stain, and rosewater facial spray.
For the home, a Roomba makes my life easier, considering I own a cat and a dog. And I think it’s time to upgrade to a Vitamix blender since I whip up a daily protein shake. If you don’t own an InstantPot, now’s your chance. I use mine all fall and winter.
My kiddos swear by air purifiers, so I’m investigating placing them throughout the house. Casper Bedding has some great deals if you need to refresh your guest room for the holidays. Both of mine are getting a redo. Stay tuned! Since we’re talking about the holidays, I’m restocking my Pyrex Storage so the leftovers will have a home.
I have to admit I am just getting started with sourcing Amazon fashion finds. But I promise in the months ahead; this is a priority of mine because Amazon has upped its presence in the fashion world. But here are a few of my picks.
