Looking for a cute and comfortable Thanksgiving outfit? This year many of us will pack our bags and head out of town for the long Thanksgiving weekend. Others will host friends and family in their homes. Or you may find yourself seated at a lavish feast in a five-star hotel. Whichever scenario you find yourself in, Thanksgiving 2021 looks a bit different than 2020. And many of us are asking, “what to wear to Thanksgiving?” The past few days, I’ve shared a casual monochromatic outfit in ivory. Then I switched gears to an all-black ensemble. Today’s cute and comfortable Thanksgiving outfit is bold and bright. The runway colors this year are spectacular, and I love it! Vibrant shades of reds, greens, yellows, blues, and pinks are everywhere. There’s never been a better time to experiment.
The chaos continues at Casa Djalali. Just in the nick of time for Thanksgiving, my upstairs living environment will be under control once more. But as I type, my main bathroom has one coat of paint, the bookcase is sans doors and shelves, and I’m still parking in the driveway and hauling my trash through the front door… This, too, shall pass. However, Oscar and Ollie are wondering where to curl up and take a nap. Items from the bookcase and bathroom have shifted into other spots making life a little more interesting.
This year it’s easy to find my all-time favorite color – pink! One of my favorite color combos is pink and navy or pink and black. But if I’m feeling adventurous, I love to wear pink and red or pink and oxblood. Today’s cute and comfortable Thanksgiving outfit starts with an oversized cashmere sweater from Banana Republic. Faux leather leggings (old, similar color here, similar silhouette here) from Ann Taylor are an excellent choice for turkey day due to an elasticized waist. Since it’s boot season, a pair of burgundy suede booties (old, similar here and here) is the perfect choice to keep my tootsies warm but fashion-forward.

Beautiful outfit! The colors are gorgeous separately and gogeous together — instantly chic and comfortable. Happy Thanksgiving … and construction.

one of my favorites!
Beautiful outfit! The colors are so “rich” looking; especially the booties. Gorgeous! I so wish I could wear wool/cashmere. It’s probably a good thing I can’t; I’d be in trouble.
Thanks Beth for all of your beautiful styling.
