Shopping the Talbots Semi-Annual Sale
Happy Monday, ladies! As far as Summer sales are concerned, there seems to be none bigger than the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Yesterday, Kelly and I shared with your our dressing room diaries from that sale. But, not to be forgotten, we're shopping the Talbots' semi-annual sale too.

Today, I've pulled together a new OOTD from the sale. But I've also rounded up some recent Talbots outfits I've featured on the blog, many of which are on sale. I really just want to give you a sense of what's out there, as there are a ton of good deals to be had.

1. Embroidered Linen Shift Dress
(Talbots)
This embroidered linen dress is just C.U.T.E. Talbots knocked it out of the park with this fun and colorful detail, making it so easy to pair with accessories.
Go matchy-matchy with a pair of pink shoes and a turquoise bag or follow my lead with this pair of metallic slingbacks and straw crossbody. You really can't go wrong either way.

2. Washed Linen Joggers
(Talbots)
This OOTD has several items from Talbots: linen joggers (limited sizes in white similar here), bateau neck tee, and cotton weave tote. The cotton/ linen cardi hails from J.Crew and a pair of neutral sandals (similar here and here) that go with everything. Earrings and bangles are simple accessories that always jazz up an outfit.

3. Tipped V-Neck Slub
(Talbots)
I've paired a v-neck slub with a pair of wide leg linen pants. They work great together, with the color of the pants picking up the details of the slub. (And If you're looking for a more natural look, the pants also come in flax.)
I've elevated the causal look of the outfit just a bit with a pair of metallic sandals (old, similars here and here).

I had seen that embroidered denim shift on the Talbots website and I wasn’t impressed . You rock that dress though! I may just have to buy it!

Sold! I have admired the denim embodied shirt dress at Talbots but was waffling about buying it. You really made it pop! Fortunately, they still had my size and at a great price- my favorite combination! I also bought the tee shirt dress, yet another item I’d had looked at a few times but couldn’t make up my mind. It looks like it would be perfect for travel – cute, easy to pack and ‘forgiving’.
