Happy Thursday, ladies! And hello from Paris. Given that I'm traveling, I wanted to keep things super simple today and share with you 5 of my favorite fall outfits. That's right: no underlying theme. Just 5 outfits I love and keep going back to in some shape or form over the years.
I've built up quite the corpus over here on the blog, so it's hard to narrow things down to just 5. But I tried. And I think you're going to find some classic style elements, here, that you can incorporate into your wardrobe and make your own.
Whether it be denim-on-denim, colors pops, or timeless classics every woman should have in their closet, there's something here for everyone. So, let's get right down to the outfits.
Today, I'm sharing 5 of my favorite fall outfits
The outfits I've modeled are all old, but I've put together similars for each
Each similar is shoppable via a text- or image-widget
Think you can't pull off the ole' Canadian Tuxedo (aka the all-denim look)? Think again. Just layer a blazer---neutral or colorful---on top of a chambray shirt and your favorite pair of blue jeans and you're all set. And dress things up with a pair of heels to elevate the outfit even further.
It's no secret that I love animal print, especially on coats. No matter what the trend, they're always in style and go with just about everything. (Remember: animal print functions as a neutral.)
Whether you prefer a bomber jacket or a trench, an animal print coat works wonderfully layered on top of a neutral background.
2022 kicked off with bright, bold colors. From rich purples to yellows, color was all the rage. Things are a bit more muted this Fall & Winter, but that doesn't mean I'm going to shy away from the occasional color pop.
Tweed jackets are Fall staples, and what I love most about them is that they come in all sorts of colors and patterns.
Ponchos always make my Fall Essentials list. They're just so darn fun with a plentitude of patterns and designs. And what's better: anyone can pull them off.
Try pairing a poncho with a pair of wide-leg jeans this Fall. And if that's not your cup of tea, they work great with a classic pair of skinny jeans too!
Nothing makes me happier than fall sweater weather. A duster in a vibrant shade doesn’t disappoint and is a perfect second or third layer for a chilly day.
There are a lot of denim silhouettes on-trend this year: from wide-leg to flare to high-rise, so many choices. The good news: they all pair perfectly with a duster.

I have the Brahamin bag and need some styling ideas for it….??? And would it look ok with a black winter coat?
