Hello! Happy Thursday. Wide-Leg Pants. Over the summer wide-leg linen pants were my go to, and come early fall, I am reaching for wide-leg denim. And today, I'm sharing my wide-leg denim picks for Fall.
I know petites often steer clear of wide-leg pants, I did for a very long time. But there are a few things you can look for to make this classic look work for you.
Today Kelly is sharing her wide-leg denim picks for fall

Our weather in September is back to pleasant temperatures with warm days, cool mornings and evenings, with lower humidity. The perfect time to wear my favorite transition pieces – a short sleeve sweater and lightweight denim.
This Texture Stitch Cap Sleeve Sweater is from Ann Taylor. I love its neutral color palette and the subtle dot stripe pattern created by the stitching; which is more like crochet or pointelle. Soft and light, it’s a perfect sweater for a shoulder season day.
Now, on to the wide leg denim! These are my absolute favorite Madewell Jeans. I am wearing the Slim Wide-Leg Jean in Lunar Wash. There are only a few sizes left in this style and color, but Madewell has a very similar style with the Petite Perfect Vintage Wide-Leg Crop. I have preordered the Tile White in this style for winter and spring 2023.

I am styling my wide-leg cropped denim with woven leather clogs from Madewell, The Jordyn Clog. Clogs have been around forever, but it wasn’t until recent years that they found their way back to fashionable status.
It hadn’t been since the 60s and 70s that stylish clogs were so ubiquitous. Personally I am glad to see them back in vogue. Why? Well, before my style aesthetic comes my style comfort. I like to wear clothes and shoes that are comfortable. Clothes that feel good on, tend to look good too. If we feel good, we are confident and confidence makes everything look great.
Wide-leg denim is not a flash in the pan. Whether casual denim; dressier denim trousers; cropped or full length wide-leg denim is here to stay. Personally, I was tired of missing out on all the cute wide-leg denim because I am short. So, I say try a few different styles and see what feels good to you. I have collected several styles and brands to get you started on your wide-leg denim adventure!
We are spending a little time at The Ritz Carlton at Lake Oconee.A short drive from Athens, Lake Oconee is our favorite place for a quick getaway. The grounds, landscaping and natural beauty are such a treat to enjoy!
