Happy Sunday, ladies! We've been talking about the Nordstrom Anniversary sale for a few weeks now over here on the blog. On Thursday, Kelly, Jess (our photographer), and I went to the sale in person. And today, Kelly and I want to share our Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dressing room diaries.
Super simple post today---more show than tell. Kelly and I have about a combined 20 or so items we brought home, all of which are modeled below. And we've actually modeled a lot of the same items to show you how they look both on (non-)petites.
Yesterday, the sale opened up to all influencers (i.e., Nordstrom cardmembers) and on July 15th it will open up to the general public. (For more details on how exactly to shop this slightly confusing sale, check out our Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Primer). Most if not all of our picks below are still in stock, but if they're not, feel free to leave a comment below, and we'll see if we can round up a similar.
Today Kelly and I are sharing our Nordstrom Anniversary Sale dressing room diaries
We brought home about 20 items, all of which are modeled and shoppable via a text and image widget
Yesterday, Kelly's husband, Alex, shared his 6 favorite recipes. Click the title or image below to read the article.

I really like the knit blazer but even on sale, it too much.
it is definitely an investment piece. I do shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for investment pieces as well as stocking up on basics.
Thank you both for showing the same outfit. Seeing that the same outfit can look great on two different body styles is very helpful.
it’s wonderful to have the addition of a 40s and beauty editor that gives us new perspectives!
Hi Rhonda, It’s nice to see that difference, isn’t it? Nowadays a lot of retailers give model options so you can see an outfit on different bodies, but they never show short people as a body option! I am so happy we can illustrate some styles for you. Thanks so much for stopping by, xo Kelly
Looks like you two had a super fun shopping trip! Love the finds you both got! Thank you for sharing-
this is our third year hitting the Nordstram sale! it’s such a fun girl’s day. since Nordstrom has a lovely cafe we end the day with a Nicoise salad and glass of wine. what’s better than that?!
We sure did! Thank you, Rene! xo Kelly
I too like that you both showed the same outfits in 2 body types., I am 5′ 3″ but cannot wear petites. they do not fit me right, so I like to see what the outfits looks on Kelly a short person and Kay a taller person. Gives us respectively.
Thanks so much Sherri, I am happy to be able to give the perspective from a short gal’s point of view! xo Kelly
Beth, I know I’ve commented on this before but your hair is just fabulous! So very flattering. I’ve decided to go grey, slowly, and I’m really considering your cut. Is it easy to take care of?
The pieces you and Kelly chose to feature are wonderful. And I love how you modeled them. Nice and fresh!
Thank you, Beth and Kelly for sharing your Nordstrom try ons with us. I just signed up for the Nordy club yesterday and have started a wish list based on both of your choices.
Hi Beth,
I don’t know what good the Nordstrom sale is when everything that is worth buying (the things you and Kelly are wearing) IS ALL SOLD OUT! I am an Influenzer, so did not have access until yesterday. Each year this happens. I am totally disappointed in Nordstrom and the way they handle the sales. Have fun wearing the great clothes!!
Hi Joan! What items are out of stock? I checked several of the items I shared and they were in stock. But, unfortunately, when a sale is this good items go fast.
