Some are tried, and true favorites and some are brand new to me. I’ve been a big fan of Ruby Woo ย Mac’s best-selling red lipstick for some time. It’s the perfect shade for a festive look. Lately, I’ve been using Nudeies Bloom blush in Cherry Blossom. A cream blush is flattering and forgiving. Or how about itCosmetics CC Cream gives a flawless finish. Benefit Gimme Brow is a great eyebrow gel that looks natural. I use Cool Grey. But Nars is one of my all-time favorite makeup brands.
The holidays are the perfect time to splurge on yourself or pick up stocking stuffers for your daughters, daughters-in-law or besties. So I’m sharing a little bit of this and a little bit of that with you today. My Nordstrom End-of-the-Year Beauty Picks
1. Skin & Facecare Pt. I
Elemis is definitely a go-to skincare brand that I count on year after year, product after product. The Pro-Collagen Hydra-gel Masks are soothing and help with fine lines and provide an instant skin-tightening effect. Place two patches over each eye, brew a cup of tea and relax after a long day. When the time comes, they will be perfect for throwing in my travel bag.
Typically, I exfoliate my skin once or twice a week. That’s when I reach for Dynamic Resurfacing Facial Pads that act as a gentle skin-perfecting exfoliator. These facial pads work for all skin types.
I don’t know about you but these days, my neck needs some serious attention not only from the effects of aging but tech neck (all that craning over phones, laptops, and the like), Elemis has me covered with Pro-Collagen Face & Neck Serum.

Shopping online allows me to scroll through new products or head straight to my favorite brands. Today, I thought I’d check out Nars, a makeup brand I know I can count on. I am in love with their Air Matte Lip Gloss that’s long-wearing.ย What can I say about Nars Orgasm Blush except that it’s a flattering shade for most skin tones.
The Mini Bronze and Blush Duo combine two of the brand’s cult favorites. I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you Nars Climax Mascara (where do they come up with these names?) is a fan favorite and one of mine too. It adds volume to your lashes. Something that I need in spades.
Revitalash Eyelash and Eyebrow Conditioner help my lashes grow thicker and longer, which is a win/win at any age but especially at 64. Lashes and eyebrows seem to all but disappear as we age. Right?! And my eyebrows are definitely fuller. My aesthetician is so impressed with the results that she comments every time I visit. I always stock up on these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

3. Skincare Pt. II
Love, love, love fresh Skincare. They have some terrific gift sets. Rose Deep Hydration Skincare Gift Set is perfect to tuck inside your travel bag. The Sugar Lip Balm Set includes three go-to essentials that are always in my makeup drawer. Every morning I use fresh Rose & Hydration Hyaluronic Acid Deep Hydration Toner instead of a cleanser. It’s one of my all-time favorites.
