Happy Monday, ladies!ย I hope you had a wonderful weekend.ย The weather has decided to warm up here a bit, and we had an absolutely gorgeous day yesterday.ย All this means is that I couldn’t not wear bright and bold colors this Spring!ย (Double negative, anyone?)
Before we kick things off, just wanted to mention some of the many fun changes happening here at SaaCA.ย In addition to Kelly’s first featured post, we rolled out our post redesign yesterday.ย We think the daily post will be a lot easier to navigate, read, and shop from here on out.
And if you want to stay up-to-date on what’s going on over at SaaCA, you can subscribe to our email list by clicking here.ย We actually have three mailers you can subscribe to:ย a daily email, a weekly newsletter, sent Sunday night, and a recently revived sales newsletter, which will probably be sent 2x a week.
Enough of the updates, let’s kick off today’s OOTD.
The Summary (tl;dr)
ย Today’s featured item is a tie detail shift dress from Talbots, with metallic accessories to accentuate
ย I’ve modeled today’s dress one way, and I also pulled 2 alternate boards together
ย The dress is shoppable via a text or image widget

I Can’t Not Wear Bright & Bold Colors This Spring
1. Talbots Knit Shift Dress
(Talbots)
Today’s featured item is a knit shift dress from Talbots.ย We initially ran this dress in our daily email, and it was an absolute hit.ย (As of the other day, it was a top 5 seller for April.)
So, I had to feature it.
This dress is absolutely darling and has the cutest tie detail.ย It comes in two colors, including black, but since this is the year of bold colors, I went with orange.
I’ve worn it simply today and let my accessories do all of the heavy liftings.ย But if you’re looking for alternative ways to wear it, scroll down, as I’ve put together two.

2. Accessories
(Aqua, Tory Burch)
My accessories today are metallic—primarily gold.ย Metallic accessories work well with bright colors, especially when you have a simple outfit like today’s.
My gold strappy sandals are from Aqua but old.ย I’ve rounded up similarsย here, here, and here).
My necklace is old too, but make sure to check out these Devon Leigh similars.

3. Dress Details
(Talbots)
I’m a sucker for little outfit details like today’s dress tie.ย Always nice to mix things up a bit and put a fresh spin on an old favorite.

In Case You Missed It
Yesterday, I showed you a variety of different dresses, and additionally, different ways to style each.ย Click the title or image below to read the article.
I ordered the olive knit stripped dress, that is so similar last week and love it. I also ordered the pink linen blazer that you showed with it and the hot pink espadrilles to go with it. I cannot do orange, though it looks great on you, but I love the olive and pink combination.
love pink and green! i know you will look adorable.
I love this dress on you. The side tie makes it look like a wrap dress. I think this dress would be flattering to anyone’s shape. I want to go try it on today! Also….love the way you’ve repainted the outside of your house. The white brick and black trim looks as stylish as you! Can’t wait to see the full reveal. Or did I miss a post?
yes, i finally decided to paint the brick! i love it! we will have a post that features the outside
Ladies: You two are doing a great job of spicing up the blog even though it was pretty spicy to begin with – ha! I love your values stated in another story recently!
