The Only Denim You Need for Summer

Happy Monday, ladies!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend where you are.  And I hope the temps are cooling just a bit as we head into the last leg of Summer.  Today, we’re talking the only denim you need for summer.

If temperatures near you are anything like they are here, denim is probably the last thing you’re reaching for when you’re getting ready.  Not so fast.  You can in fact wear denim 365 days a year, especially if you invest in a quality denim dress.

We all know denim dresses are perfect for transition weather.  But they also work great during the summer months.  And what I love most about denim dresses is how easy they are to dress up or down simply by your choice in accessories.  Swapping out your footwear alone can change the nature of your aesthetic.  But don’t be afraid to belt the dress for a more put-together look.

This denim dress has been on style repeat for five years running. Don’t worry it’s still available. Ralph Lauren makes several classic items that stay in-stock year after year. 

This is a good reminder, too, that if you invest in quality pieces—even if they’re a bit pricey upfront—they will last you multiple seasons and years.  Whether you want to call this “slow fashion” or “sustainable fashion”, a few key investments go a long, long way.
