And it’s hard to miss all the pre-fall sales hitting my inbox these days. So today I am sharing the perfect Fall transition piece.

The Perfect Fall Transition Piece

My favorite transition piece is a short sleeve knit top. I love short sleeve sweaters and they are perfect for our two shoulder seasons. I try to keep my collection in neutral colors that will work in both spring and fall.
For the last couple years, I have seen the knit polo popping up at many of my favorite retailers. A classic top, the collared polo brings a little polish to any outfit.

Navy and white stripe is a classic combination and goes really nicely with darker rinse jeans. I am wearing the Zoe Knit Polo from Alex Mill, one of my new favorite brands featuring easy, breezy, classic styles. The Zoe Knit Polo is lightweight with a wide weave giving it a pointelle look and feel. Easy breezy.

2. Boyfriend Jeans

The weather is still hot enough in Athens that I could pair this knit top with shorts or a skirt, but I am going for all the fall feels today with relaxed-fit jeans. These are AG Ex-Boyfriend Jeans from Nordstrom. They are regular sizing, but since the style is supposed to be cropped the inseam hits right at my ankle, giving me the latitude to add a little roll to the cuff.

Is the sweater cropped? I’m wondering if it is a petite size or if it is really short. If so, I’d look like Pooh-Bear. But I really like this style.
Hi Lissa, The polo sweater is sold as a cropped sweater. It is only available in regular sizing. I am wearing xs and the sweater hits me at my hip. Even on the (presumably) tall model on the website, it doesn’t seem to fall above the waist. Hope that helps! xo Kelly
