Happy Monday, ladies! And welcome to... August. The dog days of Summer are here, and maybe, just maybe, the temperatures are going to drop, at least here in Athens. July was a busy month, for sure, dominated by two major sales. Today, we'll slip back into our normal cadence and focus on wardrobe staples in neutral colors.
Today's featured item is a silk dress from J.McLaughlin
Any wardrobe should include staples like this dress in neutral colors and natural fibers

I've put together two alternate outfits and each is shoppable via a text widget
Wardrobe staples are a must-have in neutral colors and natural fibers that stand the test of time. You can easily put together an outfit if you have the basics on hand. Think tees, button-ups, black pants, a white shirt, dark rinse denim, and a little black dress. Or, in this case, a little blue dress that’s flattering, lightweight, and will take you anywhere you want to go!

Coach has always been a well-known, if not iconic brand. But I have to say, I'm really enjoying their (slight) direction shift over the past few years. They're attempting to appeal to a wider audience without alienating their core customers. Always hard to pull off, but I think they've navigated choppy waters with skill.

First, I’m loving your hair! So pretty on you! I’m looking for a dress for my (50th, yuk) class reunion which is in October in NJ. I’m liking this dress, wondering if it would work with a closed toe shoe bc by October sandal season will be behind us.
Love the silk dress featured today and it looks great on you. But, at $200 and dry clean only, it’s not practical for me, unfortunately.
Very pretty dress Beth.
the sandals are gorgeous!!
The accessories make the dress stand out
Thank you
I’m so excited! I bought this dress. And it is even more beautiful in person. It was a splurge but I have been looking for seasonless classic dress for a while. I’m wearing it to a bridal shower in Sept, a wedding in November. And my 50th class reunion in Oct. I don’t know exactly how I’ll style it for my reunion but I know it will be outstanding bc you don’t fool around with 50 years! Lol. Thank you Beth for this recommendation.
What a perfect dress for both occasions! it’s simplicity in motion but can be dressed up or down and is a wardrobe staple that will serve you
well for years! enjoy!
Beth you look absolutely beautiful in this dress and sandals. Thank you for bringing this to us!
