it’s fridays with oscar, and we’re off to grab a cup of joe. these days, i reserve my coffee drinking to the weekend. don’t get me wrong; i have a love affair with coffee from way back when. but i also love to add disgusting things like creamer that come with a gazillion grams of sugar. so i’ve decided to limit my consumption to friday and saturday or saturday and sunday, depending on how my week’s gone. today seems like a very good day to add a little caffeine to my routine. hey, a girl needs a vice now and then…
today’s ootd is simple and sleek. black Juliet pants by Chico’s and an adorable embroidered Paris sweater from Talbots.
uh oh, we can’t forget about mr. style. let’s head to the back seat buddy.

add my trusty moto jacket similar here into the mix and i’m ready for anything that comes my way. since it’s a jam-packed day i want to be comfy yet stylish. trust me, the two concepts go together. hands down black is chic but why not add the unexpected with a blue crewneck sweater?
and for a little extra pizazz? red flats win the day. i know, i know, lately i’ve been crushing on these shoes. but they are so dang cute and comfortable i just can’t help myself. didn’t i tell you red shoes act as a neutral?
all right, it’s time to sip my luxurious treat and get this show on the road. but before i do oscar and i wish each of you a lovely weekend. and florida? batten down those hatches and hang tight! it’s going to be a rocky road.
I love this outfit and Oscar is adorable as usual. Our pup always get the front passenger’s seat, too, but knows if I show up, he needs to head back. Enjoy the weekend!

i have to agree with you kay, love that oscar! he is such a hoot with so much love to give. color isn’t nearly as scary if you start with small doses. so glad you’re giving it a whirl.

Looks great! I have been wearing those red shoes a lot lately as well. I put cushiony insoles into my shoes all the time, so they’re very comfy then. Oscar looks ready for the weekend. Enjoy! And yes–I’ll be thinking of all the folks from Florida as well as my sister in southern Georgia, which is slated to get hit as well…
