nothing fancy going on today as oscar and i braved another day of frigid temps. no snow, but good golly miss molly the low was 18 the past few days. it’s time to bundle up that overcoat which i did directly after mr. style snapped a few photos of today’s outfit. a lovely reader asked the other day if i wear white denim come winter. the answer is yes! in case you hadn’t heard white denim is a do 365 days a year. the white contrasts nicely with this red funnel coat similar here. a striped cashmere sweater gives this ootd a nautical vibe and is from everlane my new favorite style crush. based in san francisco everlane gives a fresh spin on modern classics and the quality is mighty fine. so far i’ve splurged on a pair of loafers, sweatshirt, sleep shorts (sold out), and this cashmere sweater. i have a few more goodies headed my way after their ‘pay what you like’ sale. a cute concept which suggests three different prices you are eligible to pay. it looks as if everlane won’t fall into the dreaded 40% off hole most brands dug a decade ago. needless to say, you will see more and more of this brand as the year progresses. love them!
our evening walks have temporarily been moved to the late afternoon. the sunshine adds a few degrees of warmth and we’ll take anything we can get this week.

It’s been a while since my last visit to your blog. I missed you both, but the company I work in moved from a far away town to a town nearer home and at same time the end of the year is a busy time for our bussiness (I must be grateful on a daily basis for that) and christmas and so on, kept me away from blogs. Only a quick reading on my notifications received on e-mail and that’s all. Love to see you and wish you both a wonderful 2018 year!
Good Morning Beth, I’m so glad to see this wonderful red coat is still in your rotation. I purchased it last year after I saw it on your blog. Red has long been ‘my color’ and I have loved this coat. It’s perfect for Colorado’s fall, mid winter warm and early spring weather. I’ve styles it with several different colors of hat, gloves, and scarves. It so brightens up grey days. Thanks for the introduction.
Love that British look of the wellys… looks like might almost work to go hunting! Hi, Oscar. Bet he likes the cold! Stay warm. Looking good????
Do you find the Hunter boots run true to size?
white demin all year long!
Love this look. The red boots really sets the outfit off. Still trying to get the nerve up for white pants in the winter. In Florida, guess they will be ok, as anything goes with flip floops, lol
Love the red/black/white. I have those boots–and people always love them. I think it’s because I tend to wear them on dreary wet days so they look colorful. Just got a new laptop so I can see your posts again! I was peeking in on my mobile but disqus wasn’t cooperating. Happy New Year!
