Happy Friday, gang! We made it through another week! Hard to believe, but next Friday is November 3rd. Yep, the holidays have arrived. In case you missed it, Kelly and I released our first Holiday Gift Guide to help with your holiday shopping. Today’s ootd is easy peasy as I slipped into a pair of wax-coated jeans I’ve worn several times this fall. This time, I paired them with a vibrant purple v-neck sweater. With such a bold color combo, I kept the accessories in the neutral zone with a gold belt (old, similar here) and gold kitten heels from Frances Valentine. Metallics will invariably come to your rescue when in doubt – silver or gold accessories are always in my closet.

This CashSoft Ribbed Sweater Skirt from Gap is from last year, but it is available again this year – in new colors updated for fall 2023. It is available in petite sizes. I’d say it runs a little big. If I ordered it again, I’d size down one size. Nevertheless, it is a very comfortable skirt, soft and cozy, easy to wear, and perfect for fall. And maybe winter, with boots, if your winters are mild like ours.

Pomegranate Ginger Paloma
This Pomegranate Ginger Paloma is a festive fall update to the traditional Paloma. We are adding pomegranate juice and a punchy ginger syrup for a warmer flavor profile. Top the cocktail with ginger beer for a refreshing fizz!
Roasted Cauliflower and Chickpeas with Chimichurri
This is an easy preparation for cauliflower with a big flavor payoff. Roasted chickpeas and cauliflower dressed with chimichurri sauce, which is herbaceous and savory. If you want to forgo the pita, serve the roasted cauliflower and chickpeas over a bed of greens and drizzle with the chimichurri sauce.
