Happy Friday, ladies! And it’s the last Friday in February, which means one thing. Spring is right around the corner. Longer days and warmer temperatures, here we come! Although March can be a fickle month when it comes to weather… Don't worry; I’ll have you covered on what to wear for a warm weekend getaway, Easter dresses, and how to ease into all things spring! This week on FWO, we are keeping things casual and we have a fantastic menu on hand! I especially love the grilled Caesar salad with the BEST Caesar salad dressing I’ve had in years! Kelly decided to concoct a bloody mary mix from scratch. It’s quite good!

Every Friday, I reach for a casual chic outfit; this week is no different. With spring fast approaching, I’m looking for items that can transition from winter to spring with ease. Enter a bouclé top that’s part top and part sweater from Banana Republic that comes in ivory and black. It’s a simple top with a boat neck that you can pop over jeans for a weekend look or over pants for a workweek outfit. And who doesn’t love a top with a relaxed fit? This one fits the bill. Straight-leg jeans from Talbots are the perfect match, along with these houndstooth block heels from Frances Valentine that have been on style repeat for months!

We made a Caesar dressing from scratch for our Grilled Caesar salad which is definitely the way to go if you want to take your Caesar to the next level. Homemade Caesar dressing is not complicated, and it comes together quickly.

I hate to hear Marlene is not longer posting. She is awesome. I’ve truly enjoyed her information and inspirations. Perhaps Saturdays are a harder day to cover … myself; if I don’t have to work on the weekends, I take a tech rest so often don’t see them until Monday.
