it’s time to deck those halls y’all! and i have a helper or two this year. sure, they’re still snug in bed sleeping but oscar’s filling in the gap ’til they’re up. right buddy? let’s start with the front porch and work our way inside. there’s nothing quite like pulling christmas decorations from their boxes. it’s like meeting a dear friend again. one that you haven’t had the pleasure of seeing in quite some time.
what am i wearing? pieces from a surprise black watch collection from Talbots. black Friday promo is 50% off one regular price item until noon and 40% off entire purchase all day. online there’s free shipping with purchase of $150+.
velveteen pants with a festive twist! nothing says christmas quite like plaid. give me tartan or black watch plaid all season long. today, i chose a button cuffed turtleneck in a vibrant shade of blue to coordinate with this iconic print.
loafers in a whimsical holiday edition are getting me in the christmas spirit.

this gorgeous wool coat is making another appearance. lately, it’s been downright cold in the mornings. a coat and gloves are a must when it comes time to take oscar for a walk. these black watch plaid leather gloves have touch technology to use with touchscreen screens.

a novelty tee with stripes and black watch plaid blazer show my holiday spirit in casual chic style.

denim with velvet side stripe trim? yes please! i’ve been eyeing this trend all season long and decided to it was time to make a decision. the velvet stripes add a nice upgrade to humble blue jeans. perfect for casual outings and parties alike.

Hi Beth, love the green coat! Have I missed something or are you letting your hair grow a little longer? You always look great but I do lone your hair short! Happy holidays,
Debbie
‘Tis definitely the season. Great job on the e-magazine. Tell Mr Style I love his fabulous photos. So many similar traditions here in our neck of the woods, (and even specific things you profiled that are literally the exact same things we use–cracks me up.) This year I have a feeling will be more minimal for me, since knee surgery#1 is right before Christmas! I won’t be able to do as much as normal. ;(( So I’ll enjoy your decorating vicariously! Happy Holidays.
