once summer has arrived, a good old-fashioned backyard barbecue is not far behind. and since mr. style (one of my blogging buddies always refers to her husband by her blog name. kim, thanks for the idea! i’m now shamelessly copying you.) received a grill for his birthday from one of our boys. well, it was time to crank up the fire and cook up some kebobs. mr. the style is the resident grill meister, and i must say he has perfected a few dishes through the years. my particular favorite is rosemary chicken. i’ll share the recipe once that finds its way into the rotation. it is delish! if you are lucky enough to be headed to a barbecue this weekend i know you will want to look stylish yet comfortable. after all, the whole point of a backyard barbecue is to have fun with family and friends. there might be a croquet game, badminton or a bocce ball match to join. there are so many ways to liven up the party. today’s ootd is a simple eyelet dress that helps me keep my cool on a hot summer day. i’ve added a hat to keep the sun off my face, and gladiator sandals for a pop of color. chunky jewelry is just the finishing touch this lwd can handle with ease. don’t you just love summer when the living is easy?
oscar and i wish each of you a lovely weekend!

Love the hat! I’m sure Oscar loves the smells coming from the grill. Yes, please share the rosemary chicken recipe. xoxo
I love this necklace so much. If you are ever selling it, I am the first one to buy it 😉
