fridays with oscar

here we are ladies, heading into the first weekend in november. even if the weather has been unusually mild as of late, both morning and evening cool down enough to throw on an extra layer. but i have to admit only the northern states are chilly enough for a pea coat and scarf! when that cold front finally arrives down here in georgia i’ll be ready.

oscar, on the other hand, was born with his snazzy ready-to-wear fur coat. and as long as he’s on his walk around town, he doesn’t much care what the thermometer reads. but i am loving this cowl neck sweater with a curved hem that’s perfect paired with gray denim. but i’m thinkin’ the star of this show is this pea coat with a fitted bodice and slight flare. now, if this weather would only cooperate so i could wear the darn thing… who knew i liked cold weather as much as i think i do? san francisco, you had your charms.
