Happy Friday, gang! And just like that, August draws to an end. The long weekend has arrived; in my mind, summer starts Memorial Day Weekend and ends with Labor Day. Yes, all good things must come to an end. The days are getting shorter, pumpkin spice lattes are being served, and the best part is fall fashion is underway! Sweater Vest
But today, summer is in full swing, although I have one foot in summer and the other in fall. How cute is this sweater vest from Talbots? It will look fantastic tucked underneath a blazer or paired with ivory trousers. Since it’s Friday, I always kick off the weekend with a casual ootd so why not pull out my beloved relaxed jeans and give them a spin? After months of drawstring linen shorts, it’s always a wake-up call to put on pants with zippers and buttons.
My feet felt the same jolt of reality as they stepped into a pair of cap-toe ballet flats after months of flip-flops and sandals. Oh, the ease of summer outfits. But all in all, I’m ready for the transition from summer to fall.
