Spring in Full Swing
All right, gang, this is the last Friday in March. How did that happen? Since Easter is early this year, Good Friday falls in March. While this religious holiday isn’t a Federal holiday, it could be a State holiday (Georgia recognizes Good Friday as a State holiday) when State government offices and some schools and businesses are closed. Good Friday is one of the most important days in the Holy Week, which begins on Palm Sunday and ends on Easter Sunday.

Kelly and I are kicking off Easter weekend with a delicious cocktail that reminds me of Sangria. I loved the Leek and Blue Cheese Toasts, which just has Spring written all over it. The family descends on my house Saturday morning as Chelsea, Kelly, and I film three more Message from Mom podcasts that drop every Saturday. Oscar is the bomb, but Ollie is pretty impressive. I’d love a big cat.
It’s hard to know if you want to know or not, but … when you say bust the “myth that mothers-in-law aren’t monsters-in-law,” you actually mean bust the myth that mothers in law ARE monsters in law. It’s a double negative the way you’ve been using it, which means MILs are monsters.
LOL! On the podcast I add the adverb “necessarily” which was omitted in the blog post which negates the double negative. But I appreciate you reading every word that’s written! Enjoy your weekend!
