Happy Friday, ladies! And happy March! We are cruising at barrel-neck speed straight into Spring, and I’m ready. Although, March is a fickle month where weather is concerned. One day, it’s hot. The next day, it’s cold. One day, it’s sunny, and then the rain clouds swirl overhead. This is the month when you have to be prepared for anything! Today, the forecast has a high of 46. Monday is going to hit 70 degrees. Welcome to Spring!

As for my outfit, well, I love this shade of soft green, which is seen everywhere this Spring. The sage green sweater from Everlane is perfect for this time of year, combining cotton and merino wool, a lighter-weight version much needed for milder temps.

I paired it with sailor slim wide-leg chinos from J.Crew that have been on style repeat since they arrived on my doorstep. The chinos come in four different colors and will take me from Spring to Summer with ease. They are super comfy and soft and have a flattering fit, which is why they have a 4.6-star rating. I’m debating whether to splurge and add honey brown to my cart. TBD.

Y’all know I love Frances Valentine's shoes. These houndstooth block heels have been my go-to shoe for weeks. They look especially good with wide-leg pants, but I’ve paired them with skirts and dresses, too!

Hello Spring! I am always renewed with a fresh energy when March rolls in. Even though the weather is a little wacko, I take every sunny day as the perfect opportunity to spend as much time as possible outside. I also start to transition my wardrobe; slowly moving my short sleeve sweaters to the front of my closet. I recently added this new Cashmere Cropped Sweater Polo style from J.Crew to my collection.

I wanted to jump on the wide leg cuffed denim trend, but I wasn't finding a style that spoke to me. That was until I saw Anthropologie has a new style of my beloved Colette pant: Colette Denim Cuffed Wide Leg Jeans. I love vintage styles from the 1930s, 40s and 50s, and these cuffed wide leg pants remind me of the way women wore jeans in the 1940s. I'm hooked!
