what’s a tell-tale sign spring is on its way? besides the birds chirping or daylight savings which arrives this weekend. it’s gingham, ladies, gingham! this year (and last) gingham is seen everywhere. from blazers to tennis shoes to flats, shirts, skirts, totes, and pants. like this black and white pair, i’m wearing today. although, i am seriously considering this pink and white pair. i know i know who needs two pairs of gingham pants? but when it comes to this happy print i can’t help myself. and they’re pink. can you hear me talk (justify) myself into pulling the trigger?
anyhoo, today’s ootd is all about nine-to-five casual chic. this look is perfect for the office, business meeting or charity pow-wow. the addition of the chanelesque tweed blazer similar here elevates this outfit but notice how the gingham pants add casual sophistication. a rick rack sweater similar here keeps the black and white vibe going strong. classic black pointy-toed pumps are elegant, but the hobo handbag has laid-back written

I love gingham also. I’ll buy anything I can find in that check. Just bought a Tunic in it. You’ll see me wearing it when I can walk with two feet!
stylish indeed but that pink would look exceptional as well.
I like the sunglasses with it too–gingham is classic. I think it can be very chic, and the Chanel-esque jacket helps pull this outfit in that direction. Pretty!
