Today we have a wonderfully simple One Pan Honey Glazed Chicken with Shallots. I love the shallot preparation for this dish, in fact it’s one of those components that is worth hanging on to for all kinds of other dishes; I am thinking steak, or steamed veggies. They’d be great on a salad or topping roasted potatoes, or an omelet. We have a few chicken thighs, too and the whole thing gets a drizzle of spicy, sweet pan sauce.
I have really been enjoying fall dinners this week. Yesterday’s Pork Roast is a wonderful example. Today’s One Pan Miso Chicken is another example, though this recipe is quicker and is an easy go-to for a super savory, healthy, one pan weeknight dinner. Miso is fermented soybean paste. It’s a Japanese seasoning used for everything from seasoning soup broth to protein and veggies. Miso is umami-packed and gives a wonderful savory flavor to anything you season with it.
Hello, welcome to Sunday Supper on Djalali Cooks. Today’s Sunday Supper is one of those super satisfying one-pan meals that is perfect for two – a flavorful meal with only a few ingredients and simple preparation. You can make this for one, and make it a meal prep if you like: swap the two bone-in chicken breasts with four small boneless breasts or thighs and package up the leftovers for the week.
Hello and welcome to Sunday Supper! This one pan dinner is flavored simply; honey, feta and lemons, along with fresh rosemary, Kosher salt and pepper are all we need here. The honey caramelizes the lemons, feta and chicken thighs, creating a delicious, savory/sweet profile. Everything is served over fresh spinach and peppery arugula, dressed with the honey lemon pan juices. It all comes together in about 40 minutes.
Hello! Welcome to Djalali Cooks. While this one pan recipe would be a perfect Sunday Supper, yesterday I featured The Greatest Meatball Sub because it takes the better part of a Sunday afternoon. This One Pan Saffron Chicken Korma is a great weeknight meal, it’s relatively quick to prepare – only about an hour; and it employs a method that is great to keep in your back pocket for adding richness and flavor to other dishes.
Hello and welcome to Sunday Supper! Today’s Sunday Supper is a recipe by Melissa Clark that I absolutely love. It’s not unlike the Chicken in Vinegar we did a few weeks ago; it’s a one pan chicken dish with a tomato base. But, for this recipe we have pancetta and mozzarella – no vinegar. The chicken is juicy and tender, and the sauce is so flavorful and rich. It’s an easy weeknight dinner, and totally guest-worthy. Let’s get to the versatile and delicious Chicken with Tomatoes Pancetta and Mozzarella!

And an 8th. Instant Pot Lemon Chicken Thighs. from December/January (?) 2022. I’ve made it several times with a whole chicken as well and the broth it makes is rich, flavorful and delicious!
