Happy Friday, ladies! And happy football season! Today, we are having a tailgate get-together. Is there anything better than a college football game? The Georgia Bulldogs are back-to-back National Champs and we’re waiting with bated breath to see if we’ll repeat the magic this year. So far, so good, with a 3-0 record. It’s a home game tomorrow night as we square off against UAB at 7:30 p.m. Yours truly will have to miss this one as I’m taking Kelly and Chelsea to the Leanne Morgan comedy show. If you have not heard of this talented comedienne who claims Tennessee as her home what are you waiting for?! She has an incredible story as fame came calling later in life for Leanne. She released a hilarious Netflix Special in April that focuses on friends and family. She just turned 57 and Is Just Getting Started, as her comedy tour touts. It’ll be a fun night!
But back to today’s post with a Friday appearance of our favorite German Shepherd, Oscar. Kelly whipped up a delicious recipe, per usual: Baked Chicken Flautas. This week’s cocktail is a Mezcal Negroni, and I must admit Negroni’s of any kind are always up my alley.

Today I slipped into a comfy striped t-shirt dress by Frank & Eileen and added a pair of red ballet flats for a little color punch. Frank & Eileen is a favorite brand of mine due to its quality and modern twist to the classics. They offer several options for dresses, from linen shirtdresses to jersey dresses, long sleeve fleece dresses, or denim, but I’m a big fan of their travel sets and own the Malibu Travel Set in white and the Nantucket Travel Set in navy. But today’s ootd is a comfy yet cute outfit perfect for the weekend or even a tailgate party. Am I right?! Go DAWGS!

I don’t often wear a graphic tee, but if it’s game day and the family is getting together to watch the game, a Georgia Bulldogs tee is perfect! I am really loving these Wide Leg Jeans by Mother. They are incredibly comfortable and perfect for a casual tailgate get together.

Mezcal Negroni
A red-hued cocktail is the perfect game day drink for Georgia Bulldog fans. We mixed it up a bit today and used mezcal instead of gin to go with our baked chicken flautas.
Baked Chicken Flautas
These baked Chicken Flautas are super simple to make and they’re a great dish for a group. Since they are baked, you can do them ahead of time and they will keep a wonderfully crisp exterior. Be sure to hold off on topping them with the sauce, cheese, and cilantro until just before serving.
