come one, come all, and join oscar and me as we kick off the long weekend. we’ve been working hard and are ready to sit back and relax at the nineteenth hole. don’t you just love the prospect of a three-day weekend that stretches out before you? for those golfers out there, or even if you’re not like me, oh, i’ve had plenty of opportunities through the years, believe me. the lessons started as a young girl and continued here and there through my forties. my parents were terrific golfers always sporting a golf tan throughout the summer months. my husband never met a golf course he didn’t love, and my kiddos were part of junior golf for years. but for some reason, golf and i never developed a serious relationship. this is a sport that demands time and attention even if you want to be an average player. and while i applaud and admire all of you golf aficionado’s out there, well, as i mentioned before i’ll be meeting you on the nineteenth hole with my pal by my side. and i’ll be waiting in style as i’m wearing one of the cutest darn skirts i’ve seen in a long time. it’s gingham, with a soft sheen to the fabric. and perfect for any barbecue that comes my way. today, i’ve slipped on a pair of sneakers, and white hoodie to amp up my sporty style. because this weekend it’s all about casual ease. and what could be a more than perfect addition than a bucket hat? but this skirt could easily transition to the cutest run-about-town ootd wth a pair of sandals and black tee. i might just have to do just that next week! did i mention oscar and i are rea-dy for the weekend?! are you?
