The countdown is on for Thanksgiving! It’s T minus 6. Christmas is only thirty-eight days away and forty-five days until NYE! Ready or not, 2023 is quickly drawing to a close, with 2024 within sight. But back to Thanksgiving, my all-time favorite holiday! Give me all the mashed potatoes, turkey, gravy, and cranberry sauce! Then I’ll drop into a food coma and watch football all evening long. Today, I’m sharing my Thanksgiving tablescape. Kelly whipped up the best, and I mean the best appetizer – Baked Fontinea with Carmelized Onions. I did fall into a food coma after eating my share of today’s appetizer. Of course, we whipped up a yummy cocktail, and my best bud is by my side to kick off the weekend.

When in doubt, a sweater and jeans combo always works. Right?! And since I never met a stripe, I didn’t like. I added this striped cotton turtleneck (it’s on sale) from J.Crew to my closet. It’s a great weight and looks fabulous with cuffed jeans (old, similar here and here). A pair of classic ballet flats are always a go-to shoe solution of mine, and I love these Chanel dupes.

This taupe-color Sequin-Embellished Sweater Vest from Madewell is a great neutral top that adds just a little bit of sparkle. Our Thanksgivings are generally pretty casual, so jeans are a comfortable choice for bottoms. I have had superwide-leg jeans on repeat all fall. These are mostly sold out, so I found a similar version.

Vesper
The Vesper definitely packs a punch, but it’s also light and refreshing – especially with a heavy Thanksgiving meal. If you’re a martini fan, this is a great twist on the classic.
Baked Fontina with Caramelized Onions and Fig Jam
This a super easy appetizer for the holidays. and it’s a crowd-pleaser! The fontina is nutty and savory, with fresh herbs, sweet caramelized onions, and fig jam.
