Happy Friday, gang! It’s been a busy, busy week here at SaaCA! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is something we take seriously here at the blog. The first week of the sale keeps us on our toes as we sift through lots of items online and in the store and then share our picks with you. Not always an easy task as some items sell out lickety-split, which means we go back to the drawing board. Drawstring Linen Shorts
Today’s outfit is easy breezy: a linen top from Banana Republic and drawstring linen shorts from Faherty. This pairing is my style uniform when I’m lounging around the house or working in front of the computer. It beats the heat in style, yet I’m put together if UPS knocks on my door. Win/Win! The shorts have a 3″ inseam, which is short but perfect for home or a backyard BBQ.

Linen-Blend Polo
I love putting together a monochromatic neutral summer outfits. For my casual outfit today, I went with monochromatic khaki. This is a great base for a summer outfit because I can go in any direction with my accessories. I went with black, but red, pink, or orange would be fantastic! I have the perennial classic, Stretch Chino Short from J.Crew and one of my new favorite tops this summer, the Linen-Blend Polo from Banana Republic Factory. This is such a great go-to top, I also have it in black, and it comes in six other colors!

Antipasto Skewers

I just had to comment on you and Kelly’s post today . I think a longer short length would be more flattering.
Thanks for being a faithful follower! And, yes, I did mention this inseam is short, but I’m still comfortable wearing it especial at home when it’s hot and I know I’ll be bopping outside or walking Oscar.
And I will just say that style is personal so if it’s not for you it’s not for you.
