deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la la la la la la la. don’t you love this time of year when even your bedroom can strike a festive tone? whether you like layers of cozy neutrals or choose plaid tidings, don’t forget to bring comfort and joy to your room. it’s an easy transition with the right holiday bedding, pillows, and trimmings.
today, we’re going on a mini-tour of my bedroom that kicks off the holidays with seasonal layers of plaid, velvet, and monogrammed crisp white percale sheets. add a festive throw pillow or two, a favorite candle that sets the scene, and it’s time to curl up with a book and a cup of tea and wait to see what santa brings this year. can you believe Christmas is a mere two weeks away?

holiday bedding, pillows, and trimmings
typically, i switch my bedding for fall/winter and spring/summer. some of you may have missed my spring/summer bedding post. this year i couldn’t resist adding Stewart tartan plaid duvet and shams to my bedroom from Pottery Barn. it’s cheerful and adds a dash of Christmas cheer to my room.
i donโt know about you, but Christmas morning (and day for that matter) is about lounging: lounging in pajamas. to that end, iโve pulled this classic pajama set, turtleneck, and camp socks from J.Crew. what i love about these pajamas is that, while they are Christmas-y, theyโre perfectly appropriate for the entire winter season. if you love them as much as me, there are still sales and deals to be had at J.Crew, so make sure to head over there for any last-minute shopping

throw pillows are an easy way to add seasonal fun to any room without breaking the bank.
candles are also an easy addition to your room. don’t forget to add a favorite scent to your bedroom.

happy thursday, ladies! time to put a smile on someone’s face, including yours.
So bright, warm and cozy and Lord knows we could use a little Christmas cheer right now. I love the little JOY pillow and plaid is always a favorite pattern this time of year. I don’t think about decorating for Christmas with my bedding but this may be the year I start, Thanks for the lovely ideas.
