6 Recipes For Your Holiday Meal

1. Super Easy Potato Galette

Of course mashed potatoes are a Holiday menu staple. But, if you want to mix things up a bit this year, or if you are just looking for a super easy way to prepare potatoes that will yield a satisfying mix of crispy and velvety tender potato textures, this Potato Galette is your answer. 2. Brussels Sprout Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette

Today’s Brussels Sprout Salad with Lemon Vinaigrette incorporates some leftover preserved lemon paste from Preserved Lemon Chicken into a savory, sweet vinaigrette that will gently wilt shredded Brussels sprouts, coating toasted pecans and dried cranberries. Toss in fresh mint and parsley, top with fluffy grated Parmesan and we have a wonderful salad for your Thanksgiving table.ย

3. Nutella and Cherry tear and share

As we approach Christmas, I have just a few more holiday recipes to share; today’s Nutella and Cherry Tear and Share is just about as easy as making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. A puff pastry star filled with Nutella and cherry preserves, dusted with powdered sugar looks beautiful and is quick to prepare, making it a great breakfast treat for Christmas morning.ย

4. Pork loin roast with mushrooms

With cooler temperatures outside, staying cozy and warm inside with the aroma of a roast cooking away in the oven is so comforting. I especially love a roast like this Pork Loin Roast with Mushrooms because the mushrooms are just as much a part of the dish as the pork loin. And the sauce we will make from the braising liquid is rich and delicious; with white wine and the aroma of oranges, it makes this Pork Loin Roast with Mushrooms an unforgettable meal.

5. Prime Rib Holiday Dinner

I think it’s safe to say that we are all eager to ring in 2021. For Alex and me, this year has been weird; but there have been many positive and happy moments too. 2020 will always be the year of the Pandemic. But for us, it’s also the year we moved into our first house; it’s the year I launched this blog. Friends got married; friends had babies. I could go on, but my point is that even in the darkest times, we must be hopeful; celebratory of the things we are grateful for. So, even if the only thing you want to celebrate is the end of 2020, let’s do it right! And what’s more celebratory than a Prime Rib Dinner?

This is an easy recipe, perfectly suited for swaps and modifications to suit your taste. While this might be a late addition to your Thanksgiving menu this year, it’s a great appetizer for Christmas and New Year’s too.
