raindrops keep dropping on my head so it’s time to pull out the heavy artillery and try to stay chic and dry. but, hey, a little rain never hurt. it might mess with my ‘do’ but i’m happy to see this much-needed rain so i’ll try not to complain. this raincoat by cole haan similar here is years old but still looks just as good today as the day i bought it. it’s that pop of red that brightens any gloomy day.
plaid is on-trend this year and i seem to be in a black and white phase as of late. so this michael kors ensemble was a perfect choice. the funnel neck top is less constricting than a turtleneck and the pants have a side zip which is a flattering fit. since these two items are separates it will be fun to mix ‘n match in the coming months. but today this ootd is off and running to a few meetings.

Your outfit will certainly be cheerful on a drizzly day. A rainy day makes it really difficult to look pulled together and attractive (for me at least!!) I really love your handbag collection and look forward to seeing a video on this accessory. I was wondering, though, if in addition to putting current links on similar styles, you could mention the brand of the one you are wearing. It may point me in the direction to look into that bag and brand. Thanks!
Love the head to toe plaid!

Beth, thank you for making getting dressed every day a fun event! I love trying to mimic your outfits, and often I have things in my closet very close to yours! I’ve also purchased quite a few items that you’ve styled. Please keep it coming! I miss you on Saturdays….but how DO you do it? Keep on keepin’ it fresh and new!
Cute outfit–and love the red coat topping it all off! The plaid is terrific–I always like a sleeveless turtleneck–something very sleek about it.
Gorgeous two piece Beth – the addition of the red coat was a marvellous choice.
