many of you have heard me say one of the best aspects of blogging is the people i meet. and the brands i am introduced to like Misook an upscale designer knitwear company that zero in on elegant and interchangeable separates.
in the early part of march i flew down to dallas, tx, Misook headquarters, to work on their spring campaign and learn first-hand what a truly remarkable company this is. first off, I was impressed that all their knit garments are washable, fade resistant, and wrinkle-free. guess what’s going into my suitcase when i travel?
next, was the fact their no-cling knits flatter all body types and come in sizes that range from XS – 3X. plus, each and every piece of knitwear can be hung on a hanger. that’s right. due to utilizing the latest technology in knitwear machinery each piece is individually knit, eliminating problematic stretching and warping. this is one reason Misook has gained a loyal base of customers and has remained successful for 30 years. and they offer jackets, and dusters, tanks, and pants. there’s even a nice selection of wovens to choose from. the designs are trend-conscious without being trend-driven. a company after my own heart.
today, i’m kicking off special occasion season (spring is jam-packed with weddings, graduations, holidays, showers) wearing a fantastic multi-stitch dress with matching coat that’s as comfortable as it is chic. it’s loaded with subtle details and a neutral color scheme with the softest hint of pink interwoven throughout. several photos zoom in on the outfit to take a closer look at the beautiful pattern play on both the dress and coat. and while i’ve paired the two together for today’s ootd (yes, this is the outfit i’m wearing on easter sunday) this dress and jacket can be worn separately. that’s what i love best about separates – there’s versatility galore.
have i piqued your curiosity yet? i thought as much. what are you waiting for? take a look at this amazing brand, Misook, for yourself. there’s so much to love. i’ve also linked several other items that caught my eye.

A big thank you to Misook for this sponsored post. And thank you lovely readers for supporting the brands that allow me to bring fresh ideas daily.

Do you use a self tanner and if so, which one? Have a wedding coming up and would prefer to do that open a spray tan. Thanks in advance. You look stunning in the the dress/coat outfit, so chic. I wish more mid priced designers/companies would offer this option…looked all over for the upcoming wedding and could not find anything in my price range.
i use jergens natural glow moisturizer on a daily basis. that way, my legs have some color year round. and you are quite right about this dress and matching coat. and it’s a dream to wear. but it is definitely an investment piece. although, my dad was a big fan of pro-rating anything that came into our house. and i’d think he’d agree misook is a good buy.

First of all you look “marvelous” in the words of Billy Crystal. Second, a knitwear that competes with St John AND can go in the washer?! Be still my heart! Ironically, our post today is about laundry so I think it’s kismet. Have a wonderful week!-Laurel Bledsoe
