it’s goodbye to the weekend and hello monday morning. before i bid adieu to sunday, mr. style and i headed off to UGA to listen to Mozart performed by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. what a lovely way to spend a sunday afternoon. the season thread this year is music of Vienna through the ages. since mr. style grew up in Vienna it’s only fitting we were in attendance. this performance featured one single year of Mozart’s life. at the height of his success right after The Marriage of Figaro. what did we listen to? Sonata in C Major for Piana, Four Hands, Sonata in A major for Violin and Piano, Quintet in C major for Two Violins, Two Violas, and Cello.
what did i wear? my trusty pearls are back in action similar here, cropped blue jeans, faux leather moto jacket similar here, white shirt, and classic block heels by ferragamo. oh, did i forget my handbag by Talbots similar here?
denim | shirt | moto jacket similar here | handbag similar here | pearl necklace similar here | block heels
are you ready for monday, gang? ‘cuz it’s here. let’s make it a good one.

Mozart is a great way to spend an afternoon. Sounds utterly lovely! Your ruffles were perfect for that! A good friend of mine does a lovely photography blog about Vienna: http://www.viennaforbeginners.com/
it truly was a lovely way to wind down the weekend. they didn’t call Mozart a genius for nothing. that’s for darn sure.

Beth,
Your outfits are always “spot on” but please remember that not everyone can afford $500 leather jackets, $500 leather handbags, and Ferragamo shoes! I shop Talbots, Nordstrom, and Chicos but some of Madewell is a bit pricey and today’s shoes! Killer lovely but killer expensive.
there are so many price points that each of us is comfortable with (or uncomfortable) but i’m just as prone to wear a pair of shoes from target as i am from ferragamo. hopefully, you are finding inspiration that fits with a budget that works for your lifestyle.
