neon brights
monday morning needs a strong cup of coffee, and a pop of color doesn’t hurt either. this fall, i’m loving cobalt blue, chartreuse, red, and of course, my all-time favorite color – pink. today, i was able to combine a cobalt blue boyfriend cardigan and an a-line chartreuse skirt. nude heels are a definite must-have for the simple reason they go well with tricky color schemes. of course, a pair of cobalt pumps would have been the perfect addition for this nine-to-five look, but sadly, i don’t own a pair. so nude heels it is. a striped button-down shirt helps tone down the neon brights, and whenever i can, i slip on a fun belt. it’s no secret that i love a string of pearls. large or small, real or faux so i’ve liberally layered them in around my neck and wrist. a classic statement bag completes this monday morning ootd. have a good one!
