nordstrom anniversary sale goodies | the sunday brief
part of me wishes it was fall so i could wear my snazzy new outfit. yep, today i’m sharing a few of my Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goodies. it’s not too late to shop the sale prices. but you better hurry as this mammoth sale ends today.
a plush faux fur jacket has been on my must-have list for several years. and this was the year to strike gold! this double-breasted jacket is from Vince, one of my favorite upscale designers. it’s short and boxy with classic notched lapels. and it fits like a dream. i’m wearing a size medium, and it’s true to size with plenty of room for a bulky sweater underneath. this might be my go-to jacket all winter long.
another Nordstrom Anniversary Sale goodies is from Vince. i’m always a sucker for fisherman sweaters so i scooped up this classic cable sweater in a blend of wool and cashmere. i sized up to a large for a roomier fit, and i’m happy i did. it comes in ivory and a gorgeous heather frog/forest that i’m debating on putting in my shopping cart. if i like an item, i have no hesitation in purchasing it in several colors.
if you are looking for a comfortable pair of boots, do i have a pair for you? these knee-high boots are from Vince Camuto and come in three colors – tortilla suede, black suede, and a mauve multi snake print. what i love the most about these boots beside the color are the 2.5-inch heels which are wider than a normal and give this boot a comfy fit.

the faux fur is plush and soft. and this jacket has pockets. what would we do without pockets?!

this round handbag from Rebecca Minkoff is one of my favorite anniversary sale items. it has a flat base for stability and a crossbody strap. but only the pine color is available at this time.
it’s hard to believe the 2019 Nordstrom Annivery Sale is one for the history books. but time is marching on as usual! the dog days of summer have arrived and it’s back to keeping cool and chic in style. happy sunday, ladies!

This ootd is another big winner Beth☺️. My complexion and hair color appear similar to yours but I am always hesitant to wear ivory and warm tones since I went silver. Studying your photos makes me think that maybe I should try mixing these shades with white as you did with your jeans to keep the overall look brighter. As always…thanks for the inspiration!

Love that sweater….reminds me of one I had years ago from J Crew. I love the neutral tones. I did shop the sale and got some really quality pieces. I really thought about that handbag but I am happy carrying the different Dooney and Bourke bags I have. You look awesome!
I swore that I would not shop Nordy’s sale. Then I saw the Black and Red large pane plaid blazer with ruched sleeves, the Emerald Eliza J print midi dress, the cashmere wrap cardigan (also trendy emerald) and the Gentle Souls stacked heel bootie!!!!! OK, I needed all of these pieces! Now I’m looking for a great Leopard print handbag!

Love that sweater–I seem to always gravitate towards at least one sweater like this every season, as it goes with a million looks. I usually size up as well–I like the larger over lean look. You look maahvelous–hope you are doing well.
