pattern play

it’s a new week gang! can you believe we’re halfway through january? valentine decorations are everywhere. this weekend when i was out and about home and garden items were prominently featured. to be fair spring arrives early in this part of the country. but these days my attention is firmly fixed on white sales and sprucing up the inside of my home. artwork is finally hung on the kitchen walls – progress. the painter is back, and we just might get the house finished. to date, the kitchen, YouTube room, living/dining rooms are finished. this week the projects include my new home gym, laundry room, main bath, hallway, and trim. fingers crossed.

but here’s a glimpse of my weekend ootd when i was out and about. my style uniform is in action with a subtle pattern play. herringbone boyfriend blazer, cashmere houndstooth vest (j.crew circa 2016) similar here, and striped shirt. banana republic jeans and a pair of black smoking slippers finish off the look.
