welcome to spring, y’all! we’ve been waiting for this season with bated breath. what better way to kick off spring than with a pattern mix – stripes, gingham, a little bit of blue a little bit of black and a lighter color palette.
pattern mixing might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it certainly adds pizazz to an ordinary ootd. and what could be simpler than a cotton sweater and ankle length pants? that is unless you mix a striped sweater from Lou & Grey with gingham pants from Talbots. doesn’t it add a whole lot of fun to this outfit? although i’m certain, this adorable sweater will be on serious repeat the next few months. i can see it with red jeans or yellow chinos. wait, i have a pair of green jeans too. see, the options are endless.

OMG, you are TOO cute! The pink chair sets off the entire outfit! Thank you for making me smile & you are always in my head when I’m getting dressed… thank you! xo
Cute mix! Those espadrilles will be very versatile–they’ll go with tons of things. I love the gingham pants. And the sweater’s fun. I’m ready: Happy spring–my sister and son are up in the northeast and are getting ready to be slammed again. It’s days like this I’m glad I’m in NC…
Love that top!
Nothing like bright colors and patterns to give a lift to the spirit! Here in northern Illinois we NEED that lift!
