come summer, i always welcome safari style into my rotation. it’s chic, it’s cool, and it’s classic. ralph lauren always has a spin on this type of look, and i turn to this brand for inspiration. today’s ootd is anchored in a khaki four-pocket shirt dress which is universally flattering for all body types. for me, dresses are a great way to beat the heat in style. if you’re wondering how could i possibly wear long sleeves this time of year you only have to walk into an air-conditioned building for an answer. most thermostats are set to sub-zero! brrrrrr. but just as many of you ask for alternatives to sleeveless dresses so here you go! today, it’s the accessories that add the pizazz. so i couldn’t resist donning a hat in keeping with my safari look. a wide navy belt, cute striped tote that will be perfect for the fourth, and a pair of comfy sandals bring this baby home. if you’ve been paying attention to my sunglass repertoire, you’ll notice i’m sporting a new pair thanks to my endless eyewear subscription with Ditto. if you’re interested in a fun and easy way to update your accessories check them out here. use code styleatacertainage for your first month on the house. shipping’s free both ways, and there’s a stylist on deck to guide you through the process.

Indeed, very chic. I’m not too keen on multicolor bags, but I love yours.
Great look, Beth! Very you! 🙂
I hope you are having a great summer!

Fab look on you and accessorized perfectly! xoxo
Khaki is always comfortable–that looks like it will be neutral enough to accessorize and change lots of ways to keep it fresh. And as you said, it’s a classic style to begin with. looks great!
i love this outfit…i am also comforted to see that skirt length on you…i am a bit tentative about shorter lengths as i am close to 60.
I LOVE it! and with the addition of the hat, I am looking for Harrison Ford to appear from around the corner. Watch out for that boulder!! 🙂 gwingal
