step into the holidays
when it’s time to step into the holidays i like to do it in style. but i also want to be comfortable. after all, thanksgiving is all about breaking bread with family and friends. and taking the time to be thankful. this has been an incredible year for me thanks in large part to the blog, and partnerships like this one with Christopher and Banks. but i would be remiss if i didn’t thank each one of you lovely readers who tune in day-by-day for a little outfit inspiration. so here’s a big kiss from me to you! thank you.
but let’s not forget that style doesn’t have to break the bank. both of my outfits shown today are not only on-trend but extremely affordable. this pink puffer vest is the perfect layer over black denim and turtleneck. but i snuck in a pop of pattern with a button-down that peeks out at the collar and cuffs. when i have a busy day planned (yes, i’m still running errands. are you?) it’s nice to know i can hop in and out of my car with ease. and chase down those last minute items that seem to elude my shopping cart. did anyone else forget the whipped cream?
and a tweed jacket always spiffs up a pair of humble blue jeans. i particularly like this trouser cut that keeps this ootd looking casually chic. pointy-toed pumps and a metallic belt polish off my outfit that’s certain to be a hit this holiday season. it already resonates with this girl ‘cuz we all know how fond i am of the color pink!
there you have it, ladies. didn’t i tell you we can step into the holidays in style?

These all look great. I have an older Talbots (Chanel-style) tweedy jacket that reminds me of this one you’ve got on here–I have had it for a number of years and it never goes out of style. I like the vest, too–pretty color!
