leather jacket
leather or suede jackets are the first items i reach for once the temperature drops. they’re classic, modern and edgy all at the same time. and they add instant chic to any outfit. don’t forget leather or suede jackets are an investment that will last a lifetime. let’s see what’s next of our list 5 fall wardrobe essentials.
the sweater
what is it about sweaters that make my heart go pitter-patter? well, for one they’re cozy, and they come in a variety of styles. sweaters can be oversized or slim-fitting, turtleneck or crew. what can i say except they’re the perfect layering piece?
the boot
every season i try to add one pair of boots to my collection. sock boots and over-the-knee boots are still trending. riding boots and booties are classics that are here to stay. but one of my all-time favorites is the chelsea boot. frye boots are always a good choice. i have a brand spanking new pair i can’t wait to wear. what’s next on our 5 fall wardrobe essential list?
the coat
having grown up in the Midwest and spending a considerable amount of time in Minnesota i know a thing or two about overcoats ‘cuz baby it gets cold outside! even if you live in California or Florida, it’s a good idea to keep at least one coat on hand. you never know when you might make a trek to colder regions. start with a trench coat with a zip-in lining then add on to your heart’s content depending on the region you live in.
the blazer
a blazer works any time of year as it adds spit and polish to even the most casual outfit. military blazers, tweed blazers, schoolboy blazers, even velvet blazers are great additions to your closet.
