Happy Wednesday, ladies! I'm talking about 6 ways to refresh & renew this new year. Don’t you love the freshness that comes with the start of a new year? I’m not necessarily that big of a fan of New Year’s resolutions. It’s easy to make them but harder to keep.
Losing weight always seems to top the list. Then there’s more travel which is always a good idea. Or maybe it’s taking a break from social media. Okay, scratch that one. At least don’t nix Style at a Certain Age. But resolutions always seem to start strong, then somewhere along the way (maybe even as early as mid-January), we begin to neglect them.
But, as I said, I love the new year's freshness and all the possibilities it brings. One thing I do incorporate at the beginning of each year is organizing. Whether my fitness gear needs an update or my bathroom needs a few new strategies to keep the clutter tamed, it's full steam ahead for January once I take down my Christmas decorations on December 31st.
Today, I have a Target Haul on deck that will kick off the New Year right. Target has been one of my favorite retailers since 1985. That was the year Mr. Style, and I moved to Minneapolis, headquarters to Target. Back then, Target was an emerging discount retailer and was owned by Dayton Hudson, who also owned, Dayton’s, an iconic luxury retailer that was well-known in the Midwest at the time.
Dayton’s not only started the discount chain, Target, in 1961, but they were instrumental in the history of shopping malls as they introduced indoor shopping in 1956 when Southdale’s opened up in swanky Edina, a suburb of Minneapolis. If you’ve ever lived in Minnesota and have contended with its harsh winters, you understand all too well that indoor shopping was a blessing!
Today, I'm sharing 6 ways to refresh & renew for the new year
From fitness to healthy eating habits to a better night's sleep, I've pulled in some tips I've picked up along the way, as well as some affordable product to help you on your journey
All of the products I recommend are shoppable inline
I've also put together some Target inspo outfits, all shoppable via text- and image-widgets

But back to my Target Haul. Let’s get organized for the New Year and start with fitness. I’m a big believer in exercise and think of my fitness wardrobe much like I do my everyday wardrobe. I want to have key pieces of clothing on hand that will take me to Pilates or Orange Theory, prepared for a great workout. What’s on my list:
Health is the new wealth, so I do everything in my power to lead a healthy lifestyle. So whether I’m headed to the gym or whipping up a smoothie, I’m paying attention to healthy habits. Bellway Fiber that’s available at Target.
Meet Bellway’s NEW Super Fiber + Greens, formulated with a powerful blend of organic kale, broccoli, spinach, and organic psyllium husk! These ingredients help feed the “good bacteria” in your gut and help you fill in the gaps to fuel your body for optimal performance in and out of the bathroom.
Each scoop contains 1 serving of veggies and 5G of fiber. It’s important to drink more water when you take Bellway fiber, and drinking more water has been linked to weight loss. And if you’re always on the go, check out their fiber capsules.
Bellway also has their original Super Fiber + Fruit in a delicious raspberry lemon flavor. It’s flavored with real fruit, so it tastes like a fruity lemonade. Yummy! Bellway is an organic, all-natural, vegan, keto, paleo-friendly, and gluten-free fiber supplement that contains zero sugar.
Keeping your gut healthy is important because it can affect your whole body—mainly your digestive system, weight, immune system, heart, brain, hair, skin, and nails.
It also helps you stay fuller longer, so you can easily avoid all your unhealthy cravings. No more hangry moods!
I have a special offer for you - use my code BETH25 at checkout. You’ll get 25% off your first order at Bellway!
I’ve decided to invest in a Vitamix 10 Speed Blender this year. It has Variable Speed + Pulse: so I can adjust the speed during the blend to achieve a variety of textures or use the Pulse feature to create quick bursts of power.
And Every Vitamix blender comes with a tamper designed to help process thick, stubborn blends—so you don’t have to stop the machine to scrape the sides. This truly comes in handy when it comes to blending frozen fruit.
And I love to curl up at night with a cup of tea. There are many varieties of tea and blends that help calm and destress. An Electric Tea Kettle from Bodum is the perfect solution to brew my tea in a jiff. It’s a beautiful design that I don’t mind keeping in sight on top of my kitchen counter. And the spout is specially shaped to give me control over the water flow for precision pouring.
The next New Year’s bucket is getting organized. As a lifestyle blogger, I have a lot of stuff to contain. But I’m a big believer in having the right tools to organize and streamline my life. Organization is indeed key to keeping your home running smoothly.
My bathroom is tiny but mighty, partly due to these drawer organizers I have on hand to stash my makeup.
I love to try new beauty products, especially at the first of the year, since I’m running on empty after the holidays and need a little TLC. Recently, on Instagram, I had a collaboration with Gold Bond and featured the Age Renew Crepe Corrector Hand Cream and Body Lotion. I give two thumbs up to both products. I especially love the Hand Cream as it tucks inside my handbag. One of my readers recommended their Foot Cream. It's on my list!
There’s no better time to get ready for new travel adventures than the first of the year. This is when many of us are heading out the door or planning our next getaway.
What’s better than new pajamas to kick off the new year?! I thought this satin floral pajama set was adorable and affordable. Cami, pajama shorts, and matching robe. I’m gonna sleep like a baby!
