Amazon makes my life so much easier in many ways. And as a professional makeup artist and beauty junkie, it is a great resource for popular drugstores and even prestige products I can find on just one website at the best possible prices. So, today I'm sharing my must-have Amazon picks.
But even more exciting, are some of their under-the-radar items that I have found hiding right in plain sight! And most of those hidden gems, are super affordable beauty solutions.
In today's post, I’m going to share what some of those must-have items are for me that help to simplify my beauty routine and make it more effective. All of these items are definitely add-to-cart worthy!
Let’s start with a couple of secret sauce products I’ve already repurchased multiple times…

I am on my 3rd tube of this lash growth serum because it WORKS! This is the Terez + Honor eyelash serum, $21, that you can only find on Amazon. The first reason I like it is because it’s way cheaper than most of those other name-brand lash growth serums and doesn’t require a prescription. This Terez + Honor also doesn’t irritate my eyes at all like the Rodan + Fields one that retails for over $100!
After using this serum morning and night for three weeks straight, I started to notice a true acceleration in growth and volume. Yes, you have to be patient with these types of treatments. But all of a sudden, when I applied my mascara I would realize how much fuller and longer my lashes were looking!
Now it is a part of my everyday routine to keep up with that lash growth and I use it only in the evenings on clean lashes.
Staying with the eye theme, this next product is a part of my everyday morning routine as soon as I grab that first cup of coffee.
These are the 30 pair 24K Gold Lavone Under Eye Masks, $10. I reach into my refrigerator (where I store them) and pop on a pair on while I get the kids ready for school. They are great for hydrating and conditioning the under eyes as they contain hyaluronic acid and collagen.
And because they’re mask patches, they tend to hydrate the delicate skin under eyes deeper than applying a traditional topical cream alone because they trap in the moisture for 15-20 minutes you’re wearing them.
By storing them in the fridge, the coolness factor helps to immediately de-puff swollen under eyes. Which I tend to deal with more and more as I age! These are certainly one of my favorite skincare tricks and products that I now don’t live without! You can also wear them while doing your eye makeup to catch any fallout that might occur while applying eyeshadow and mascara!
Of course, I couldn’t do an Amazon beauty post without mentioning the Triangle Velour Powder Puff Sponges, $9, that I use every single day! You won’t find a beauty YouTuber or professional makeup artist without these exact sponges.
They are the perfect shape for adding pressed or loose powder just exactly where you need it placed under the under eyes, corner of nose, or applying strategically along cheekbones and chin. They are reusable and washable and I even keep one in my purse for quick touchups along with my pressed powder.
What I love is how thin they are and that they contain the strap on the back that helps with holding it and pressing it into the skin easier than those traditional round sponges.
Speaking of makeup application tools, if you are a fan of the expensive $20 single Beauty Blender, but dislike how quickly they get dirty and need replacing, I’ve got a true hidden gem for you! Try a 6 pack of the Paw Paw Wonder Blenders, $10.
These are way more affordable and work just as well as the iconic Beauty Blender. They even won an Allure Magazine Best of Beauty Steals award for 2022! So if you prefer to apply your cream and liquid foundations and concealers with a sponge, this is the perfect shape and size to do so. Just remember to dampen before use. You’ll love these cute little pink tear drop-shaped tools!
Do you use lots of Qtips in your beauty routine? I sure do and find them an extremely undervalued tool. But did you know there are Precision Pointed cotton swabs, $7, though?
These are amazing for a multitude of things. Like cleaning up eye makeup issues, mascara mishaps, and eyeliner - especially cleaning up a winged liner you’ve created. And even for touching up lip color and cleaning around the nail bed when you’re painting your nails. The pointed tip just makes for better precision work for all of these things and are a game changer of a product - but so simple!
Well we have gone from powder sponges to liquid sponges, and now to the subject of makeup brushes…
I am a big proponent of washing and deep cleaning your makeup brushes with soap and water at least twice a month to keep them at peak performance. But when time does not allow for it and you need to quickly clean a brush that’s caked with makeup, this Shany Detox Instant Dry brush spray, $11, is one of my fave instant brush cleaner sprays I always repurchase from Amazon.
Again the price point is great and comes in many size options - I buy the big one of course! It works quickly by just spraying your makeup brush with this solution and then wiping off the brush onto a paper towel to remove all of the makeup - no water needed and the brush dries quickly. Easy to use with synthetic and natural fiber hairs and doesn’t dry them out.
Anyone else use multiple cotton rounds on the daily? I used to feel bad for how many I would use and throw away just to remove makeup and also for applying my toners. Much less how much money I was spending on buying disposable ones.
Then my friend introduced me to the reusable cotton rounds that you can actually throw in the washing machine and reuse over and over again without filling up the trashcan!
There are many options for these on Amazon such as these popular Bamboo Cotton rounds with included laundry bag, $9. I also love how soft and gentle they feel on the skin - even better than those disposables that sometimes leave fibers in my eyes when I would use them to remove eye makeup.
This just scratches the surface of what unique beauty solutions Amazon has to offer for the beauty junkie! If you found this post helpful let me know and also share any favorite things you’ve picked up from Amazon.
