If it’s spring then it’s time for spring dresses. With so many special occasions headed our way, Easter, Mother’s Day, and graduations, there’s nothing better than slipping into a dress suited for the occasion. Dresses are one-and-done and take little effort to style. What’s better than that? Today, I’m sharing 5 special occasion dresses you can actually wear any time.

First up is a tweed dress from Ann Taylor. It has a neutral color palette which makes it easy to exchange your accessories from brown to black or even ivory. It’s sleeveless so if you fret about showing your arms simply pop a blazer over the dress.
I discovered Karen Millen, a brand based in the UK, last year. They have a classic aesthetic with a modern twist. And their dresses are to die for. This long sleeve dress with a geometric print and a black and white color combo will take you from desk to dinner with ease with a few key accessories.
This snakeskin sleeveless dress came along with me on my Mississippi river cruise in February and was an instant hit. The feminine bow offsets the masculine print. That’s the yin and yang of fashion in action.
As we inch closer to summer a little white dress from Banana Republic will serve me well. In the meantime, simply add a denim jacket for an extra layer of warmth.
If this isn’t the cutest dress with a map print from J.Crew Factory at a great price I don’t know what is. Wear it now with a white denim jacket wear it this summer all on its own. It’s lined and has pockets!

The snakeskin print dress is my favorite! I love the outdoor photos of you styling dresses in your beautiful yard. I know springtime comes early to you in Georgia. We’ve just got plowed and shoveled from almost 3’ of snow! But I’m using the time to plan and dream of my warm weather wardrobe 🌞
I love the snakeskin dress on you. Your shoulders are beautiful. Thanks for this post with reasonable dresses for those of us who love wearing dresses.
You look so pretty in all the dresses today. I can see why you like that map print dress with all the southern locations. It is especially cute!
Thanks, Kathy! That map dress is just so darn cute!
You look beautiful Beth! Love your hair this length.
Love all the dresses and the snake print might be my favorite too! But the white is super cute and great for summer.
Happy weekend!
Thanks so much for the lovely compliment! Thanks for stopping by!
