Happy Tuesday, ladies! Yep, I’m still in Dallas at the LTK conference, having a ball! But I fly back home on Wednesday, and I don’t have any upcoming trips, which is nice since it seems like I’ve been on the road for the past six to eight weeks. This girl is tired! Today is a fun post as I’m sharing My Redecorated Kitchen.
The mini renovation wasn’t planned, but now that it’s finished, I’m glad I embarked on the project that started with a refrigerator and then morphed into a redo. So, to give you a bit of the backstory, I have wanted a new refrigerator since I moved into the house seven years ago. There wasn’t anything particularly wrong with the fridge, but it wasn’t serving my purposes. And the hilarious thing is the refrigerator actually conked out on me once the kitchen refresh was underway. Guess which appliance I still don’t have? Correct! The refrigerator has been scheduled three times thus far and has been pushed back as many times. Good grief!
Today, Beth features her redecorated kitchen and a casual fall outfit

With or without the fridge (I have one downstairs, so not wholly SOL), I’m thrilled with how my kitchen turned out, and so are my photographer and videographer! The updated room is much easier to photograph because it’s lighter and brighter. The appliances are Café Elite, and I’m thrilled I have a double oven again. The bottom oven has an air fryer option that I love, love, love! And I have a gas cooktop complete with griddle. I kept the original cabinets and flooring but had the cabinets painted in Coventry Gray. The countertop is Calcutta Gold Polished Silestone, and the backsplash is white subway tile. The walls were painted Shoji White.

I replaced the original upper cabinets with open shelving a year and a half ago. The original cabinets were so low that I could not place (or use) any of my appliances, like my Kitchen-Aid mixer. But I love open storage; the shelving is the perfect spot to store my dishes and glassware.

I’ve had this butcher block island for several years and love that it has wheels and can move around the kitchen if needed. New light fixtures above the island and sink tie into the color scheme and provide task lighting.

A walnut lazy susan sits on the countertop with vinegar and oil cruet and peppermill at the ready when it’s time to whip up a meal. I also purchased new wooden spoons and spatulas that look good and are hard-working kitchen tools. I purchased new artwork from Pottery Barn.

In addition to the kitchen refresh, I hired a professional organizer to streamline the entire space, including my laundry room and catch-all closet located downstairs. Hemma Professional Organizer did an a-ma-zing job! Now, everything has a space, and everything has a place. I love it.
Today’s ootd is easy breezy with an oversized cashmere sweater popped over a white button-up and slim houndstooth pants. Pointy-toe flats are the finishing touch.

Your kitchen uplift is gorgeous! And your outfit suits this transitioning fall weather. Have a great day, Beth~
Love the fresh update, especially the light gray cabinets! This gives me great inspirationfor redoing the little cottage getaway we just bought.
Thanks, Beth!!
Glad you were not completely SOL. I laughed out loud when I read that phrase, having not heard it in a long time. The kitchen is beautiful, and I am so envious of that great double oven!
Your kitchen is beautiful. I especially like the appliances. I also like the dining table with the storage drawers.
Love your kitchen reno, Beth! So well done! Thanks for sharing the organization of the inside of the cabinets. I recently moved to a new home and you have inspired me with a few ideas.
Your kitchen (and you) look great!
Could you share the brand name of the paint you used?
Many thanks,
Charlotte
I love your new kitchen but where is the coffee maker? I would love you as a neighbor.
